Software Engineer in Test

Role: SDET Engineer ConsultantLocation: Remote (Poland)Type: Contract (B2B)Job Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain unit, functional, UI, and performance test suites
• Profile application performance, identify bottlenecks, and validate real-time processing behavior
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and testing utilities
• Set up and manage test environments, data, and fixtures
• Configure, maintain, and optimize CI/CD test pipelinesRequired Skills:Frontend Testing

• React component testing using Jest
• End-to-end testing with Playwright
• Web Worker testing
• UI automation
• Frontend performance profiling

Backend Testing

• Node.js testing using Mocha/Chai with coverage via NYC
• API testing (REST/GraphQL)
• Database testing (ClickHouse – SQL, Redis)
• Microservices and service-to-service testing
• Integration and contract testing

Performance Testing

• Load and stress testing
• Memory leak detection and analysis
• Inter-process communication (IPC) testing
• End-to-end performance validation

Testing Experience

• Professional software testing experience
• Test automation experience
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with performance testing

Technical Background

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Strong programming and debugging skills
• Solid understanding of testing strategies and methodologies
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
