Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Expert to join our team and contribute to our company's financial planning and strategy. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience creating comprehensive financial projections, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. This role requires a deep understanding of financial modelling, scenario analysis, and strategic decision-making to support our scale-up strategy over the next 3-5 years.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Projections: Develop detailed financial projections for 3-5 years, incorporating various growth scenarios and strategic decisions.

Balance Sheet Management: Prepare and maintain accurate balance sheets that reflect the company's financial position.

- Income Statement Preparation: Create and analyze income statements to monitor profitability and operational efficiency.

- Cash Flow Analysis: Generate cash flow statements to ensure optimal liquidity management and forecasting.

Scenario Planning: Conduct scenario analysis to evaluate the impact of different strategic decisions and market conditions on financial outcomes.

- Hypothesis Justification: Formulate and validate hypotheses that justify financial projections and figures aligned with the company’s scale-up strategy.

- Strategic Financial Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that support business growth and operational excellence.

- Reporting and Presentation: Prepare comprehensive financial reports and present findings to stakeholders, including the executive team and board of directors.

- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all financial practices comply with regulatory requirements and manage financial risks effectively.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

- Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or similar are highly preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and strategy development.

- Experience working with startup ventures and/or venture capital is highly preferred

- Proficiency in financial modelling

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Bilingual or native English-speaking

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Proven track record in scenario planning and hypothesis justification.

- In-depth understanding of financial regulations and risk management practices.
