We're looking for a BIM Specialist who pairs a strong understanding of design and construction with deep technical command of BIM, someone who builds, manages, and protects the digital backbone of every project. You'll set the standards, workflows, and models the whole studio relies on, so that what we design is accurately coordinated, documented, and delivered. You'll treat Revit as a system to engineer, not just a program to operate.
Our senior leadership sets the design direction. You'll own how it's built digitally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Model projects hands-on in Revit, developing accurate, well-structured architectural models from early design through to detailed design and documentation
- Set up and manage Revit templates, model structures, worksets, and shared parameters across all studio projects
- Develop and maintain studio BIM standards, including naming conventions, family libraries, view templates, and drawing standards
- Build, audit, and manage parametric Revit families that are efficient and consistent with studio standards
- Lead federated model coordination with structural, MEP, and interior consultants, running clash detection and driving issues to resolution
- Prepare and manage BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and respond to client and consultant BIM requirements
- Run regular model health checks to maintain performance, integrity, and data accuracy throughout the project lifecycle
- Support project teams with troubleshooting, workflow guidance, and model optimisation
- Train and upskill architects and designers in Revit and BIM best practice
- Research, test, and implement tools, plugins, and automation (Dynamo or similar) to improve studio efficiency
- Ensure models and outputs meet GCC authority and client BIM submission requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or diploma in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- 4–6 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in a dedicated BIM role within an architecture, engineering, or construction practice
- Proven BIM delivery on villa and mid-to-high-rise tower projects
- Expert-level Revit proficiency (templates, families, parameters, schedules, worksharing, and model management)
- Hands-on experience with coordination platforms such as Navisworks, BIM 360, or Autodesk Construction Cloud
- Working knowledge of ISO 19650 or equivalent information management standards
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Dynamo or visual scripting experience is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with GCC authority BIM submissions (e.g. Dubai Municipality) is an advantage
- Recognised BIM certification (Autodesk, BRE, or equivalent) is a plus
