Mathematics Specialist | Remote

Position: Mathematics Expert (Master’s/PhD)

Type: Hourly contract

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Design and solve advanced math problems to test and improve large language model performance.
• Produce high-quality, step-by-step solutions with clear and rigorous mathematical reasoning.
• Create problems targeting model weaknesses such as abstraction, symbolic manipulation, and multi-step reasoning.
• Support the development of evaluation benchmarks across undergraduate to PhD-level mathematics topics.
• Provide detailed annotations and constructive feedback to improve model learning and accuracy.
• Collaborate remotely with researchers to align tasks with project evaluation goals.

• Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to solve complex math problems efficiently.
• Excellent written English comprehension and structured communication skills.
• Ability to provide detailed feedback and high-quality explanations.
• Creative problem-solving and lateral thinking abilities.
