Accounting & Finance Specialist (Full-Cycle) | $80/hr Remote

Position: Accounting Expert

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $50 - $80/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10 40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Develop and implement budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Monitor cash flow, track expenses, and provide actionable financial insights.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve financial workflows and reporting processes.
• Create clear financial reports and communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong experience in accounting and financial management in a digital environment.
• Proficiency with Akaunting or similar cloud-based accounting platforms.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
