Creative Project Manager

Hiring: Project Manager – Creative Department (Film) Company: CBWS Entertainment Ltd Location: United Kingdom CBWS Entertainment Ltd, a premier entertainment tech startup dedicated to elevating African narratives, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead our Creative Department in film projects. About the Role As the Project Manager for the Creative Department, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of film projects from concept through post-production. You will collaborate with creative directors, screenwriters, cinematographers, and other professionals to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and uphold our commitment to quality storytelling that resonates globally. Key Responsibilities - Project Planning & Coordination: - Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for film projects. - Coordinate with creative teams to establish project milestones, deliverables, and quality standards. - Team Leadership: - Lead and inspire cross-functional teams, including screenwriters, directors, designers, and production crew. - Facilitate regular status meetings to communicate progress, address challenges, and adjust timelines if necessary. - Budget & Resource Management: - Monitor project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. - Provide accurate forecasts and regular financial reports to senior management. - Risk Management & Problem Resolution: - Identify potential project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies. - Resolve issues and conflicts within teams promptly to maintain project momentum. - Stakeholder Communication: - Act as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparent and effective communication. - Prepare and deliver project updates and presentations for executive leadership. - Quality Assurance: - Ensure that creative projects adhere to the Company’s high standards, and meet both aesthetic and production benchmarks. - Oversee post-production and ensure final deliverables reflect the creative vision and technical excellence. Required Qualifications & Experience - Experience: - Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the film or digital creative industry. - Proven track record of managing film projects or large-scale creative projects from start to finish. - Skills: - Exceptional organizational and time management skills. - Strong leadership and team management abilities with excellent communication skills. - Proficiency in project management tools and software. - Financial acumen and experience managing project budgets. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Education: - A bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Creative Arts, Project Management, or a related field is preferred. - Additional Attributes: - Passion for African storytelling and cultural narratives. - Ability to work collaboratively in a creative, fast-paced environment. - Flexibility to travel or work remotely as needed.
