Delivery & Resourcing Manager
Up to £70,000 | Fully Remote | UK
I’m working with a growing Microsoft technology business looking to appoint a Delivery & Resourcing Manager to take ownership of delivery planning, resource management and Agile ways of working across both Product Development and Professional Services.
This is a broad, hands-on role combining elements of Scrum Master, Delivery Manager and Resource Manager, with responsibility for creating a clear view of demand, capacity, priorities and delivery commitments across the business.
The role will include:
- Leading Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives and backlog refinement
- Managing development backlogs within Azure DevOps
- Owning resource planning across consulting, project management and technical teams
- Producing 30-, 60-, 90-day and six-month capacity and demand forecasts
- Managing resource allocation, utilisation and availability across multiple workstreams
- Driving structured intake, prioritisation and backlog governance
- Identifying capacity constraints, delivery risks and future recruitment requirements
- Working closely with Product, Technology, Professional Services, Customer Services and Sales
- Supporting P1/P2 incident response and cross-functional escalation
- Producing KPI reporting across delivery, resourcing, utilisation and forecasting
- Helping the wider business adopt disciplined Agile delivery and resource-planning processes
What we’re looking for:
- Strong experience as a Delivery Manager, Agile Delivery Lead, Scrum Master or Resource Manager
- Experience working within a SaaS, software vendor, consultancy or professional services environment
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps
- Experience managing resource planning and capacity forecasting
- Exposure to Microsoft Project Operations, PSA or similar resource management platforms
- Experience managing competing priorities across product, project and support environments
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to challenge priorities when required
- Excellent analytical, forecasting and communication skills
Experience within software, technology, professional services or other customer-facing solution environments would be particularly relevant.
