Architect (Instructor/Mentor)

We’re seeking experienced, purpose-driven architects and designers to join us as mentors and instructors across our CO-academy programs. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about sharing their knowledge, shaping the next generation of design talent, and contributing to a more connected and empowered architecture community.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to guide emerging professionals through real-world challenges. Rather than delivering client-facing work, you’ll support participants by offering feedback, insights, and industry context that helps them build confidence and capability.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate group discussions and feedback sessions based on real project briefs and industry scenarios
• Guide participants through their design and career development, offering practical insights, industry advice, and professional critique
• Support learners in refining presentations, portfolios, and project documentation
• Stay attuned to current industry tools, workflows, and trends in order to share relevant, up-to-date practices
• Act as a sounding board and mentor, fostering a supportive and encouraging learning environment
• Participate in occasional live sessions, guest critiques, or one-on-one check-ins depending on your availability

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years experience in architecture, interiors, or a related design field
• Masters degree or equivalent
• A passion for mentoring and a willingness to share knowledge generously
• Confident communicator with strong visual and verbal presentation skills
• Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite or similar
• A practical understanding of studio workflows, project stages, and design documentation
• Bonus: experience in education, teaching, or mentoring (formal or informal)
