Business Analyst (Agile experience required)

Role Overview 

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with experience in Agile methodologies to join our team. The ideal candidate will analyse business processes, gather and document requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders and development teams to deliver effective solutions. Experience with personal productivity, time recording, accounting Firms, and an agile development tool such as Target Process tool is highly preferred. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements using Agile techniques such as user stories and features. 
• Work within Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement. 
• Analyse and improve business processes, especially related to timesheet management and accounting workflows. 
• Use Target Process or similar tools to manage and track project requirements and progress. 
• Support QA testing and validation to ensure solutions meet business needs. 
• Prepare functional features, process maps, and review test materials as needed. 
• Collaborate with Client Success for handovers of features and releases. 
• Review Client Success-owned user documentation for accuracy. 

Required Qualifications & Skills 

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst working in Agile environments. 
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban). 
• Experience with Target Process or equivalent Agile tools, e.g. ADO, Jira. 
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. 
• Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements. 
• Ability to process and present creative new ideas for the product. 
• Proficient with business process modelling and documentation techniques. 
• Experience in process reengineering for user efficiency 
• Familiarity with feature toggles and phased rollouts 
• Ability to gather feedback and iterate on usability improvements 
• Experience in process reengineering for user efficiency 
• Analyze user behaviour and system usage to identify gaps and opportunities 
• Collaborate with Client Success and QA to validate releases 
• Lead retrospectives focused on process improvement and spillover management 
• Document and maintain business rules, workflows, and integration points 

Preferred Experience 

• Familiarity with timesheet systems and accounting processes. 
• Prior use of Target Process for managing Agile projects.
