Staff Data Scientist

The people you'll like to work with and the things you'll enjoy impacting: As a Staff Data Scientist reporting to the VP, Data & Strategic Analytics in our Data & Analytics team, your purpose will be to shape Booksy's data strategy and deliver insights that directly influence growth. You'll work on some of our most critical challenges — from optimising activation funnels and personalising user experiences to building predictive models that power our marketplace. As a senior member of the team, you'll also play a key role in guiding best practices, influencing product direction, and mentoring other data professionals. Requirements Essentially, to ensure you succeed in this role you're going to need:

• Proven track record as a Data Scientist in a high-growth tech, SaaS, or marketplace business. Ideally in Lead/Staff positions
• Deep expertise in SQL and Python (Pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow).
• Strong experience with experimentation (A/B testing), statistical analysis, and causal inference.
• Demonstrated ability to build and deploy machine learning models at scale, ideally with Google Vertex AI.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder skills, with a product-oriented mindset.

At a minimum we require conversational level English language skills. Why? English is our company language and is used for any business-wide communications, so we need you to be able to speak English to feel like an integrated part of Booksy. It will also help you to have:

• Experience working in a two-sided marketplace.
• Hands-on expertise with Looker development and advanced marketing analytics (MMM, MTA).
• An interest in the beauty and wellness industry
