Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 (dependent on experience) + progression review

An ambitious and forward-thinking accountancy practice is looking for a qualified accountant to join its growing remote team.

This is not a traditional “compliance-only” role. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to a portfolio of clients, combining technical expertise with strong communication and relationship-building skills.

The role offers real ownership, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clients’ businesses.

💼 The Role

You will take full responsibility for managing your own portfolio of clients, acting as their primary point of contact and delivering a high standard of service across a range of areas.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of statutory accounts and management accounts
• Personal and corporate tax compliance and planning
• VAT returns and advisory
• Supporting payroll-related queries
• Responding to client queries via phone, email, and video calls
• Building strong, long-term client relationships
• Collaborating with colleagues to deliver a seamless service

This is a hands-on role where you will be involved across the full client lifecycle, from day-to-day

queries through to strategic advice.
