About us
Black and White Platform is a growing B2B wholesale business that supplies branded products to some of the UK and Europe's best-known retailers. We work with third-party warehouses in the UK, Belgium and the USA, and move stock by sea, air and road. We're looking for an organised, detail-focused Logistics & Operations Coordinator to keep our orders, freight and stock running smoothly.
The role
You'll be the central point of contact between our warehouses, freight forwarders and retail customers. You'll make sure every order leaves on time, complete and correctly documented, and that our stock records are always accurate. The role is fully remote, so you'll need to be self-motivated and comfortable managing partners across several countries and time zones.
Key responsibilities
Warehousing and fulfilment (UK, Belgium, USA)
- Manage our third-party warehouse partners and make sure B2B orders are dispatched on time, complete and accurate
- Prepare pick and pack instructions, packing lists, carton end labels and commercial invoices for every order
- Make sure all stock intakes and deductions are recorded across our systems
- Book warehouse intakes once freight forwarders confirm goods have landed, and make sure warehouses have the right documents to receive them
- Monitor warehouse performance, costs and service levels, and resolve discrepancies, damages and delays quickly
Retail customer order management
- Manage orders end to end for major UK and European retail accounts, including off-price and sports retail customers
- Coordinate pick and pack, order amendments, retailer portal bookings, collections and delivery to customer distribution centres
- Handle FOB and domestic UK orders
- Prepare commercial invoices, customs and stock documentation, and import schedules for customer accounts
- Make sure every order meets each retailer's routing guide, labelling and compliance requirements
Freight, shipping and customs
- Plan and book inbound and outbound freight (sea, air and road) with forwarders
- Handle import and export customs clearance in the UK and EU, making sure documents are accurate and submitted on time
- Track shipments end to end and keep the business updated on arrival dates
- Manage surrendered Bills of Lading and clearance paperwork
Stock control and reporting
- Keep accurate stock records across all locations and run regular stock reconciliations
- Produce stock availability reports for retail buying teams
- Send monthly stock updates to management
What we're looking for
- At least 2–3 years' experience in logistics, shipping, supply chain or wholesale operations
- Hands-on experience with UK and EU import and export customs documentation
- Experience working with 3PL warehouses and freight forwarders
- Ideally, experience supplying large retailers and working with their portals, routing guides and compliance requirements
- Very strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Confident with Excel or Google Sheets and with stock and order management systems
- Clear communicator who can manage several partners and deadlines at once while working remotely
- Preferred experience within the fashion industry
What we offer
- Fully remote working
- Competitive salary depending on experience
- 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays
- The chance to own and shape logistics operations in a growing international business
- Exposure to UK, European and US supply chains
