B Home Management is a fast-growing short-term rental management company based in Northwest Arkansas specializing in delivering exceptional guest experiences while maximizing property owner returns. We manage a diverse portfolio of vacation rentals in Northwest Arkansas, and we’re looking for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and resourceful Assistant to join our team.
Position Overview
This flexible role is great for someone who enjoys variety, has excellent attention to detail, and can work independently. It’s perfect for a college student or anyone looking for a part-time position that blends administrative tasks with creative projects. Hours will vary week-to-week depending on business needs. Work can be done remotely or from our at home or co-working office.
Key Responsibilities
- Basic Bookkeeping: Assist with expense tracking, reconciliation, and property owner financial reporting preparation.
- Vendor Scheduling: Coordinate and confirm service appointments (vendors, maintenance, etc.).
- Guest Communication: Occasionally respond to short-term rental guest messages when needed.
- Data Analysis: Compile and interpret property performance metrics to assist owner in decision-making.
- Software Updates: Help configure and maintain property management software and related systems, new client/property listing creation and account set up.
- Marketing & Social Media Support: Assist with creating, scheduling, and posting content to company social media channels. Generate marketing materials such as fliers, posters, and other materials.
- Website Updates: Help maintain and update the company website with fresh content and property information.
- General Administrative Support: Provide additional support to keep operations running smoothly.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and/or Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with content generation tools such as canva or visme.
- Comfortable learning and working within new software platforms (experience with Guesty and/or Buildium or other PMS a plus).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping principles (QuickBooks experience is a plus).
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, & LinkedIn) and basic website editing.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
- A functioning laptop and internet connection is required.
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time; hours vary week-to-week depending on workload, averaging 2-5 hours per week to start out.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work remotely or from our home office.
