About ARAY

ARAY is a creator tech platform connecting brands with UGC creators. We're rebuilding our platform and need a designer to help shape the user experience.

The Role

We're looking for someone to own the product design thinking: user flows, wireframes, and UI specs that developers can build from. You'll own product design across a two-sided marketplace: creator onboarding and portfolios on one side, brand brief management and creator search on the other.

What You'd Be Doing

  • Refining our existing creator onboarding flow
  • Designing the brand-side experience (brief creation, creator search, shortlisting, campaign management)
  • Working within our component system (Shadcn/ui, Tailwind) to create specs that can be built from
  • Mapping user journeys for creators, brands, and internal admin users
  • Collaborating directly with our Technical Project Manager to validate features before build
  • Reviewing built features and flagging usability issues early

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience designing SaaS platforms or two-sided marketplaces
  • Strong Figma skills and portfolio showing how you think through user problems
  • Experience designing responsive webapps that work across web and mobile
  • Understanding of accessibility basics and responsive design
  • Comfortable working directly with a developer and existing component systems
  • Happy to start from rough requirements, ask clarifying questions, and iterate
  • Comfortable taking ownership and driving design decisions independently

The Engagement

  • Approximately 2 days/week with flexibility around key milestones
  • January to June 2026 (6 months)
  • Fully remote
  • £200-300/day depending on experience

Our Stack

Next.js 15, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Shadcn/ui, Supabase. You don't need to code, but understanding component-based design systems helps.

How to Apply

We're a small team and value clear thinking over pixel perfection. If this sounds interesting, we'd love to see your portfolio and hear how you approach product design.
