Company Description

Alpine Online is transforming how consumer brands grow through clear, actionable data insights.

We partner with businesses of all sizes to cut through data noise and turn complex information into confident commercial decisions — in a flexible, cost-effective way.

With over 20 years’ experience in the consumer goods industry, Alpine Online has worked with global brands, SMEs, and fast-growing challenger businesses across the UK and internationally. We are proud members of NielsenIQ’s global partner network and collaborate closely with leading consumer data providers including Circana, Dunnhumby, SKUtrak and Elm.

Founded in 2019 by Dave and Danielle Knowles, Alpine Online is a family-run business that values entrepreneurship, curiosity and free thinking. We trust our people to take ownership, think creatively and deliver impact.

We are also committed to giving back — raising funds for charity and supporting reforestation initiatives through our charity partner, Make it Wild.

Our head office is based in Whitley Bay, Newcastle. This role is predominantly home-based with some travel for training and meetings.

The role

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to play a key role in shaping how data drives growth for our clients — and for Alpine Online itself.

This is a hands-on role, combining deep analytical expertise with commercial thinking. You will analyse complex consumer datasets, design data-driven strategies, and translate insights into clear, compelling recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders.

You will also play a key role in the launch of an exciting new service in 2026.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyse complex consumer datasets to deliver clear, actionable insights
  • Design and deliver data-driven strategies that directly support client growth
  • Present insights and recommendations confidently
  • Manage and develop data reporting tools and dashboards
  • Conduct retailer planogram analysis with 3D modelling software.
  • Incorporate AI and advanced analytics techniques to enhance insight quality and efficiency
  • Support team members in analytical best practice
  • Collaborate closely with clients, partners and internal teams
  • Contribute strategically to the development of new services and propositions

About You

You are an accountable and commercially minded data professional, who enjoys turning complex data into meaningful stories that drive real-world outcomes.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong expertise in data analysis and analytical methodologies
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and critical thinking
  • Proven experience working with statistics and consumer data.
  • Comfortable analysing data using excel, pivot table analysis, and presenting in PowerPoint
  • Experience working with and building reports within data visualisation tools such as Power BI and NielsenIQ Discover.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a small, agile team
  • Practical experience applying AI within analytics workflows to generate deeper insights

Above all, you have a passion for using data to drive growth and commercial success for clients.

Why join Alpine Online

  • Work with leading consumer brands and cutting-edge data providers
  • Influence strategy in a growing, entrepreneurial business
  • Play a key role in launching a new service in 2026
  • We are an experienced team that can offer comprehensive training in the consumer goods industry.
  • Flexible, remote working
  • A supportive, trusted and values-driven culture

Selection process

  • Stage 1 - Submit application via LinkedIn or send CV directly to enquiries@alpineonline.co.uk
  • Stage 2 - Online interview via teams
  • Stage 3- In person interview / presentation

If you feel like you might be suitable for the role, however don't quite fit all the above criteria please still get in touch as we would love to hear from you.

Also we appreciate there are lots of great people out there that might not be able to work full time. We may also consider part-time positions for the right individual.

Thanks and good luck!
