Role Description This full-time remote Human Resources Specialist role is responsible for supporting and improving HR operations across the company. Day-to-day tasks include administering HR policies, managing employee records, and coordinating recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes. The specialist will handle employee benefits administration, support performance management activities, and respond to HR-related inquiries from team members and managers. The role also involves assisting in the development of HR procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws, and contributing to initiatives that promote employee engagement and retention. Collaboration with leadership and project teams is essential to align HR practices with the company’s civil engineering operations and business goals.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Human Resources (HR) and HR Management skills, with experience handling day-to-day HR operations.
- Candidates should possess clear understanding of HR Policies and compliance with employment legislation and regulations.
- Candidates should possess experience in Employee Benefits administration and related HR support activities.
- Candidates should possess solid Personnel Management skills, including employee relations and support for performance management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
- Proficiency with HR information systems and standard office software tools.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain professional ethics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant HR certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in an HR role within engineering, construction, or professional services is beneficial.
