We’re now hiring a Director of Paid Search + CRO - a hybrid leadership role that drives both media performance and conversion optimisation. You’ll lead our Paid Search team, oversee high-impact client campaigns and own CRO strategy across performance funnels to unlock compound growth.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Director of Paid Search + CRO, you’ll be responsible for both managing and evolving our paid search capability and leading conversion optimisation initiatives that directly impact ROAS, AOV and customer acquisition cost.
This role is equal parts strategy, execution and team leadership. You’ll work closely with cross-functional growth teams, lead high-performing ecommerce campaigns and design full-funnel CRO strategies that scale.
You’ll own:
- End-to-end strategy and execution for Paid Search campaigns (Google, Bing, YouTube, PMax)
- Conversion rate optimisation across landing pages, leadgen funnels and ecommerce product pages
- Development of high-converting creative briefs and page frameworks
- Team leadership, innovation and performance management across the Paid Search team

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPaid Search Leadership
- Lead strategy and innovation for Google/Bing Search, Performance Max, YouTube Ads
- Scale ecommerce and leadgen brands across diverse verticals
- Drive performance for DTC and B2C lead generation clients
- Mentor, manage, and grow the Paid Search team with a focus on innovation and process excellence
Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO)
- Plan and execute CRO strategies across funnels to drive conversion lifts
- Develop wireframes and briefs for landing pages, PDPs and ecommerce flows
- Run A/B tests, multivariate tests and user behaviour analysis (heatmaps, clickmaps, recordings)
- Translate performance insights into page-level optimisations
Full-Funnel Growth Strategy
- Build cohesive paid search + CRO strategies that align with client revenue goals
- Define funnel architectures that integrate paid traffic with conversion paths
- Analyse performance data and proactively suggest high-impact experiments
- Stay ahead of industry trends in media buying, CRO and growth frameworks
YOUR EXPERIENCE
You’re a strategic operator with proven experience:
- Leading Paid Search teams and managing multimillion-dollar ad accounts
- Scaling ecommerce revenue using Google Ads, PMax, YouTube Shorts
- Driving conversion gains through structured CRO frameworks and testing
- Building and optimising landing pages and leadgen funnels
- Using tools like GA4, Google Optimize/VWO/Convert, Hotjar and more
- Communicating with senior stakeholders and simplifying complex performance insights
