IT Change & Technical Delivery Lead
Up to £70k | Fully Remote | Global Charity
I'm working with a fantastic global charity to find an IT Change & Technical Delivery Lead.
This is a fully remote UK opportunity with a large, global organisation of more than 25,000 employees, doing genuinely meaningful work.
It's a broad IT delivery role that combines technical project delivery, IT change, testing, and release management. It's not a traditional Project Manager or a pure Test Manager role. I'm looking for someone who understands the technical side of delivery, enjoys getting into the detail and has the confidence to challenge when things aren't right.
Testing is an important part of the role, particularly developing testing approaches for complex IT projects and dealing with defects and delivery risks.
You'll also be involved in:
- Leading IT change and elements of larger transformation programmes
- Managing complex change requests, dependencies and delivery issues
- Working with technical teams and business stakeholders to keep delivery on track
- Assessing proposed changes, including costs, resource requirements and priorities
- Supporting IT roadmaps, release planning and project delivery
- Improving testing practices and ways of working across IT
I'm looking for a senior IT Change or Technical Delivery professional with experience in complex enterprise environments and a background spanning technology delivery, IT change and testing.
Just as importantly, you'll need the confidence to challenge Project Managers and stakeholders when necessary. You'll need to explain why an approach isn't feasible, articulate the risks, and propose realistic alternatives, rather than simply agreeing to a plan and hoping it works out.
The role is fully remote, pays up to £70,000, and includes an excellent benefits package, including 32 days' annual leave, a generous pension, and gym membership.
If you're an experienced IT Change or Technical Delivery professional who enjoys solving problems, challenging the status quo and making things happen, I'd be keen to hear from you.
