Role Description

Join our thriving clinic, Thrive Holistic Centre, as a dedicated Doctor and become part of an innovative Telehealth team transforming healthcare delivery! In this role, you’ll engage with patients through seamless over-the-phone Telehealth consultations, conducting comprehensive assessments and developing personalised treatment plans. You’ll have the autonomy to prescribe treatments that best suit your patients’ needs, ensuring unbiased, patient-centred care without influence from specific products.

No prior experience with medical cannabis prescribing? We offer in-depth training, ongoing education, and dedicated support to empower you to deliver exceptional care with confidence.

Requirements:

• Valid and unrestricted registration as a Medical Practitioner in Australia.
• AHPRA registration with the ability to prescribe Schedule 8 medications.
• Authorised Prescriber status for medical cannabis or willingness to obtain it (training and support provided).
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, provide empathetic care, and explain complex medical concepts clearly to patients.
• Proven ability to work independently while upholding high ethical standards and delivering quality care.
• Knowledge of medical cannabis and its therapeutic applications is desirable, but comprehensive training will be provided for suitable candidates.
