Job Description

Posted on: September 3, 2026

Do you believe delicious food can change the world? Then we're looking for you!

As Key Account Manager UK, you'll play a pivotal role in accelerating the growth of Vivera and The Vegetarian Butcher within the UK foodservice market. You'll be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with key customers, identifying new business opportunities, and helping to bring innovative plant-based products to more consumers across the UK. You'll play a central role in delivering our local growth strategy and building strong partnerships that help drive the transition towards a more plant-based food system.

The Vegetarian Butcher Collective

In 2025, a powerful new chapter began: The Vegetarian Butcher merged with Vivera, joining forces under the brand-new identity The Vegetarian Butcher Collective, uniting two pioneering plant-based leaders while keeping each brand's unique identity intact. As the Collective, we bring together the creativity, courage, and conviction of our people to create food that's loved for its taste and trusted for its nutrition. Together, we're on a mission to help more people eat less meat by making plant-based choices more accessible, exciting, and delicious.

Your role

  • Drive the commercial performance of our UK foodservice business, including sales growth, market share, and profitability.
  • Manage and develop relationships with major foodservice key accounts.
  • Actively identify, pursue, and secure new foodservice customers, supported by our international sales team.
  • Co-develop compelling pitch decks, proposals, and sales materials tailored to UK foodservice customers.
  • Support the implementation of a local category strategy aligned with broader business objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers at customers, distributors, and strategic partners.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
  • Collaborate closely with international teams across Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Supply Chain.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop impactful customer activations and commercial campaigns.
  • Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions, and trade fairs.

Who we are looking for:

  • Native-level English, both written and spoken.
  • 3+ years of experience in Account Management, preferably within food, FMCG, or plant-based categories.
  • Proven success managing foodservice customers in the UK market.
  • Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, combined with a hands-on mindset.
  • Commercially driven, customer-focused, and skilled at building long-term partnerships and closing deals.
  • Solid understanding of the UK foodservice landscape.
  • Comfortable working within an international organisation and across different cultures.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a scale-up environment.

What we offer:

A role with significant responsibility, ownership, and the freedom to make an impact. You'll join a people-focused organisation where initiative is encouraged, ideas are valued, and development is taken seriously.

  • Make a real impact: Every day you'll contribute to our plant-based mission: helping people eat less meat by growing the presence of our brands with key foodservice partners across the UK.
  • Inclusive workplace: We believe diversity makes us stronger. You'll work in an environment where everyone can be themselves, share ideas openly, and contribute to meaningful growth.
  • Personal growth: We invest in your development through company training, internal learning opportunities, and career development across The Vegetarian Butcher Collective.
  • Ownership & accountability: Take full ownership for driving the performance and growth of our UK foodservice business.

Competitive package including:

  • 25 days annual leave plus 3 additional "Better Days"
  • Car allowance
  • Life insurance
  • Private medical insurance
  • Performance-related bonus
  • Remote-based role with occasional travel to our Uxbridge office
