About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Environmental Data Analyst to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. This role offers the flexibility of remote work within the United States, with an option for a hybrid work environment combining remote and office-based activities. As an integral part of our Environmental Data Management team, you will support various environmental investigation and remediation projects by managing, analyzing, and visualizing environmental data. The ideal candidate will bring a creative approach to data collection, management, and presentation, helping to produce clear and compelling data products that support informed decision-making. Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in geology, environmental science, chemistry, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in environmental data management and analysis within the environmental consulting industry
- Proficiency with environmental relational database management systems such as EarthSoft EQuIS, Power BI, and OpenGround
- Experience with database software including MS SQL Server and MS Access
- Strong skills in manipulating and organizing datasets in MS Excel for database import and reporting
- Ability to manage and report on chemicals encountered in environmental investigations, including metals, VOCs, SVOCs, fuels, pesticides, PCBs, and PFAS
- Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations and electronic deliverable requirements is a plus
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and attention to detail skills
- Strong analytical, judgment, and problem-solving capabilities
- High initiative and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Manage and analyze environmental data for a variety of investigations and remediation projects
- Develop innovative methods for data collection, management, and visualization to improve project outcomes
- Create concise, accurate, and visually appealing data products to support project goals
- Provide guidance and support to scientists and engineers on data utilization and interpretation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the United States to meet project requirements and client needs
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills by managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve data management processes and tools
- Competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications
