Business Development Manager
German Fluent – Mandatory
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive sustainable revenue growth across the Manufacturing and Logistics landscape in Germany and Europe.
This is a high-impact, target-driven role focused on developing defined key accounts, building structured sales processes, and contributing directly to company growth strategy.
Your Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & Account Ownership
- Full responsibility for sustainable revenue growth across defined target and key accounts
- Ownership of individual revenue targets within your assigned customer portfolio
- Identification and execution of cross-selling and upselling opportunities
- Active pipeline management to achieve revenue targets
- Delivery of regular, accurate sales forecasts
Professionalisation of Data & Process Quality
- 100% accurate and complete documentation of customer activities, opportunities, and forecasts in HubSpot CRM
- Systematic mapping and ongoing maintenance of the buyer’s centre, including:
- Identification of missing roles within the buying process
- Recording and integrating decision-makers and influencers
- Monthly preparation and presentation of pipeline, revenue, and performance analysis
Delivery of Company Growth Plan
- Active contribution to achieving annual and multi-year company objectives
- Close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Senior Management to deliver strategy
- Early identification of performance deviations and implementation of corrective measures
Core Responsibilities (Commercial Focus)
- Identify and win new business opportunities across Manufacturing and Logistics
- Build and develop strategic partnerships across municipalities, developers, utility providers, and technology partners
- Lead full-cycle sales processes from prospecting to closing
- Position complex solutions alongside technical teams
- Represent the business at key industry events
Required Experience
- Proven track record in solution sales or business development
- Strong experience within Manufacturing and/or Logistics
- Existing network of relevant German stakeholders
- Experience managing structured enterprise sales processes
- Comfortable working to revenue targets with disciplined CRM usage
