2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior HR Manager plays a critical role in executing and refining core HR workflows across the employee lifecycle. This position is responsible for managing talent acquisition, onboarding, HR operations, compliance, and culture initiatives. By partnering closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, the role ensures HR processes are clear, reliable, and aligned with organizational needs, contributing to the overall efficiency and health of the workforce.
3. Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruiting for key hires, collaborating with team leads to define roles and interview processes
- Execute onboarding programs to integrate new hires effectively
- Oversee multi-state payroll operations and maintain HRIS data integrity
- Manage health benefits administration, vendor relationships, and employee inquiries
- Coordinate with international employment and payroll providers for country-specific compliance
- Maintain and update HR policies and employee handbooks
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Handle offboarding logistics and conduct exit interviews
- Design and facilitate performance review cycles and tracking workflows
- Support compensation operations and role benchmarking
- Organize employee engagement activities and monitor team health
- Manage logistics and vendor relations for the San Francisco office
4. Requirements:
- 6-8 years of hands-on HR or People Operations experience, preferably in a fast-paced, remote tech or SaaS environment
- Proven ability to independently own HR processes and drive initiatives
- Strong collaboration skills with Finance, Legal, and IT teams
- Expertise in multi-state labor compliance and benefits administration
- Familiarity with modern HR technologies (e.g., Rippling, Slack)
- Experience applying AI thoughtfully in HR operations
- High emotional intelligence and problem-solving abilities for sensitive employee matters
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- San Francisco and New York: $150,000 โ $180,000
- Colorado: $135,000 โ $165,000
- All other U.S. locations: $135,000 โ $165,000
- Actual compensation will be based on experience, skills, and location
