Market Manager DACH | Building Materials / Outdoor LivingOverview of the Company

My client is a global manufacturer within the outdoor building materials and outdoor living space, with a strong international presence and ambitious growth plans across Europe. Their portfolio includes products used in decking, landscaping, and exterior applications, positioned in the premium segment.

Overview of the Job

The Market Manager DACH will take full ownership of the German, Austrian, and Swiss markets, driving revenue growth and market expansion. This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role focused on building distributor partnerships and developing the regional sales strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth and execute market development strategies across the DACH region
  • Build, manage, and expand relationships with distributors, dealers, and contractors
  • Identify and onboard new partners to strengthen market coverage
  • Develop and implement regional sales plans, forecasts, and pipeline management
  • Engage with architects, planners, and specifiers to drive specification-led opportunities
  • Deliver product training and support partners with technical and commercial knowledge
  • Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, trade shows, and brand positioning

Qualifications / Skills

  • 5–10+ years of experience in sales or business development within building materials or construction
  • Proven experience working with distributors, dealers, and contractor networks
  • Strong track record of market development and revenue growth
  • Experience in outdoor products such as decking, timber, WPC, or landscaping materials is highly preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work autonomously

Other relevant information

  • Remote role based in Germany with 40–50% travel across the DACH region
