The Role

We're hiring a Growth Product Manager to own the complete go-to-market strategy, product positioning, and conversion optimization for our product launches.

This isn't a designer role. This isn't a copywriter role. This isn't an executor role.

This is a strategic role for someone who can:

  • Translate complex technical products (solar cameras, IoT systems, security hardware) into compelling value propositions that drive purchase decisions
  • Position products against competitors by finding market gaps, buyer objections, and differentiation opportunities
  • Architect high-converting landing page experiences that turn browsers into buyers
  • Optimize conversion funnels through systematic testing, data analysis, and buyer psychology

You'll be the strategic bridge between product development and revenue growth. You'll work directly with the CEO on weekly check-ins, but you'll operate with full autonomy in your domain.

What You'll OwnProduct Positioning & Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Lead deep competitive analysis for each product category to identify positioning opportunities
  • Extract insights from customer reviews, market data, and competitor messaging to understand buyer psychology
  • Define the strategic positioning and core value proposition for every product launch
  • Translate technical specifications (PIR detection, 2K resolution, solar efficiency) into customer benefits that drive action

Landing Page Strategy & Conversion Architecture

  • Design complete landing page frameworks: hero sections, proof modules, comparison tables, objection handlers, and conversion flows
  • Build wireframes and content structures that communicate narrative hierarchy and guide users to purchase
  • Create messaging that balances premium brand positioning with clear, benefit-driven copy
  • Ensure every page element serves a conversion goal—no fluff, no filler

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

  • Audit existing product pages and develop prioritized testing roadmap
  • Analyze heatmaps, session recordings, and analytics to diagnose friction points
  • Design and run structured A/B tests on headlines, CTAs, proof elements, and page structure
  • Build systematic optimization program that continuously improves conversion across the entire website
  • Own website-wide conversion performance as the function matures

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Provide clear briefs and direction to designers and developers for execution
  • Partner with the growth manager to align product pages with acquisition campaigns
  • Work with product development on feature prioritization based on market insights
  • Collaborate with video editors and content creators on product storytelling assets

You're a Great Fit If You:✅ Have proven experience in:

  • Product marketing, growth marketing, or conversion optimization (3-8+ years)
  • Creating high-performing landing pages for technical or high-ticket products
  • A/B testing, funnel optimization, and data-driven decision making
  • Translating complex features into simple, compelling customer benefits

✅ Understand:

  • Buyer psychology and conversion-focused storytelling
  • Premium brand positioning (what premium brands must never do)
  • How to balance aesthetics with conversion performance
  • The difference between features and benefits

✅ Are someone who:

  • Thinks strategically but can execute tactically when needed
  • Brings solutions, not just problems
  • Works autonomously with minimal oversight
  • Communicates clearly and directly
  • Has strong opinions about what works (and can defend them with data)

🎯 Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with hardware, IoT, security products, or solar technology
  • E-commerce/DTC background (especially Shopify)
  • Track record of measurable conversion improvements (we want numbers)
  • Experience working with Chinese manufacturers or international supply chains
