An established Turkish furniture designer & manufacturer. Parla is an İstanbul-based family business, with a crafts heritage spanning 4 generations.

The history of Parla began in 1910 with the great-grandfather of the current owners crafting furniture for the Ottoman Empire. Over time, and generations, we developed the Parla brand which is a modern operation with a showroom and 15,000 sqm factory in Istanbul, plus presence in London, New York, Miami, and Dubai.

Parla specializes in manufacturing sophisticated, high-quality loose and fixed furniture + joinery for commercial interiors.

Alongside a very comprehensive bespoke FF&E service, Parla also has its own portfolio of products designed by both in-house and internationally renowned designers, some of whom are award-winning. Parla Collection is now achieving consistent growth in the UK, Europe, the USA, and the GCC with a great network of dealers, distributors, and collaborators.

At our Istanbul-based manufacturing operation, an in-house team of 15 young, dynamic designers collaborates with a factory of highly skilled craftsmen in areas such as wood, metal, glass, and upholstery; as a whole, over 200 employees are working tirelessly to continue the legacy.

The Role

We are seeking a Head of Regional Sales based in the UK to support and expand our presence in the region. This is a full-time, remote position reporting directly to the Director of Sales & Business Development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with UK-based dealers, project clients, and commercial partners
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities in the UK market
  • Requires specific technical knowledge to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for dealer sales & projects, including
  • Developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports, conducting risk analysis, and monitoring the progress of plans against project milestones and budgets.
  • Conducting preliminary research for targeted projects, reporting to senior management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers and trade partners
  • Analyse market trends, competitors, and Regional dynamics to strengthen our positioning
  • Plan and carry out field visits to implement defined sales and marketing strategies across all sales channels, closely monitor and report sectoral, commercial, and economic risks and opportunities
  • In line with the Company's objectives, to develop concrete action plans that will increase performance in the UK, and to create and implement country-specific market strategies
  • Increasing the UK market share and brand awareness
  • To coordinate the communication between the company and dealers or customers within the framework of the company's basic principles, to maintain and develop commercial relations in a stable manner
  • Preparing annual Budget and Sales Target Plans, determining strategies and business plans following these plans, and taking action
  • Taking an active role in process improvement and development activities
  • Support contract negotiations and finalization processes
  • Conducting searches and queries to research, qualify, and generate leads and sales leads.
  • Manage after-sales and client issues efficiently
  • Represent the brand at the trade shows, client meetings, and industry events
  • Lead the UK and Turkey sales & operations teams, ensuring high performance and collaboration

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Interior Architecture, Industrial Product Design, or engineering-related fields
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the furniture industry, with at least 10 years in sales and client management
  • Strong background in dealership management, project sales, and business development
  • Knowledge of the UK market and experience in B2B sales processes
  • Proven experience managing teams, ideally across multiple countries
  • Advanced English; Turkish language skills are a plus
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and MS Office applications
  • Eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience in luxury or project-based furniture sales
  • Established network in hospitality or commercial interior projects
