Senior Cloud Developer (AWS, .NET Core)

Nuage Technology Group are an exclusive partner to our client, that are growing their Consulting arm of the business. We are looking for multiple Senior Cloud Developer's to join a modernisation initiative for a leading enterprise client. This is a short-term contract (8–10 weeks), ideal for a hands-on engineer with strong experience in .NET migrations and cloud-native architecture.

You will work alongside experienced cloud and infrastructure teams to migrate and optimise a business-critical Windows application as part of the client’s strategy to improve scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Migrate an existing Windows application from .NET Framework to .NET Core (Windows to Linux Migration)
• Refactor and optimise code to support containerisation and modern deployment practices
• Prepare the application for deployment on AWS EC2 and Graviton-based instances
• Collaborate with cloud and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth deployment and handover
• Provide knowledge transfer and technical guidance to internal developers

Tech Environment

• .NET Framework → .NET Core (migration focus)
• AWS: EC2 Windows, Graviton, containerisation (Docker/ECS/EKS desirable)
• CI/CD automation experience
• Cloud-native deployment & optimisation best practices

About You

• Hands-on experience in AWS
• Proven experience with .NET Core migrations and AWS deployments
• Strong understanding of Windows-based workloads and containerisation
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently in a remote setting
