About the Role
We are seeking a high-impact Regional Sales Director to lead and scale our Microsoft-focused B2B sales business across Australia. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth across Dynamics 365 (ERP & CRM), Microsoft Fabric, Azure Cloud, Power Platform, and Modern Data solutions.
You will own the regional sales strategy, build strong enterprise and mid-market pipelines, manage strategic accounts, and collaborate closely with Microsoft partner teams, solution architects, and delivery leaders. This is a senior, quota-carrying leadership role with significant autonomy and growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute the regional go-to-market strategy for Dynamics 365 (ERP/CRM), Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and related solutions
- Drive new logo acquisition, pipeline growth, and large deal closures across enterprise and mid-market customers
- Build and manage C-level relationships (CIO, CTO, CFO, COO, Head of Data, Head of Digital)
- Lead complex consultative sales cycles, including solution selling, value articulation, and ROI-driven proposals
- Partner closely with Microsoft field sellers, ISVs, and channel ecosystem to co-sell and co-market solutions
- Forecast revenue accurately and consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual targets
- Guide proposal development, pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and deal governance
- Collaborate with pre-sales, solution architects, and delivery teams to ensure win-ability and customer success
- Provide market intelligence on customer needs, competitor positioning, and emerging Microsoft technologies
- Mentor and support regional sales team members (if/when applicable)
Required Experience & Skills
- 10+ years of B2B IT services or enterprise technology sales experience, with at least 5+ years in a senior or regional leadership role
- Proven success selling within the Microsoft ecosystem, including one or more of the following:
- Dynamics 365 (ERP, CRM, Business Central, Finance & Operations)
- Azure Cloud & Modern Infrastructure
- Microsoft Fabric (Data, Analytics, AI workloads)
- Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Strong track record of closing large, complex, multi-year deals in Australia
- Deep understanding of consultative / solution-led selling in professional services and managed services
- Experience working with Microsoft partner programs, co-sell motions, and partner incentives
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and executive-level communication
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced, growth-oriented environmentPreferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience selling data, analytics, AI, or modern data platform solutions on Microsoft Fabric or Azure
- Background in selling to regulated industries (construction, financial services, healthcare, government, utilities, etc.)
- Existing enterprise relationships in the Australian market
- Experience scaling a new region or building sales operations from the ground up
- Exposure to global delivery or offshore/onshore hybrid delivery models
