Role Description The Loss Adjuster role is a full-time remote position responsible for managing and assessing insurance claims from initial notification through resolution. Day-to-day tasks include investigating claims, reviewing policy coverage, gathering and analyzing documentation, and conducting interviews with policyholders, claimants, and other relevant parties. The Loss Adjuster will prepare clear, accurate reports, recommend fair settlements, and negotiate outcomes aligned with policy terms and client expectations. The role involves regular communication with insurers, brokers, and customers, ensuring a transparent, empathetic, and efficient claims process. The Loss Adjuster will also contribute to continuous improvement of adjusting practices and uphold Muinín’s standards of integrity and service excellence.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Claims Handling and Claims Management skills, including investigation, analysis, and end-to-end case oversight.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Adjustments and Property Claims, with the ability to assess damage, quantify loss, and recommend appropriate settlements.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Insurance principles, policy wordings, and regulatory requirements relevant to loss adjusting.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to engage professionally with clients, policyholders, and other stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management abilities, with proficiency in remote work tools and digital documentation.
- Candidates must meet MCC requirements with professional qualifications or certifications in loss adjusting or insurance, along with prior experience in property or general insurance claims.
