Front End Engineer

We’re looking for a Front-End Engineer with deep React expertise to join our small, highly skilled team as we continue building our software platform from the ground up using modern technologies including TypeScript, React, and AWS. This is a key front-end engineering role where you’ll help shape the user experience and influence how patients access care across the UK. Please note: You must be based in the UK to be considered. • Lead the development of modern, responsive front-end applications using React and TypeScript
• Translate product and design requirements into high-quality, reusable code
• Optimise application performance and scalability across web and mobile platforms
• Collaborate cross-functionally with backend engineers, designers, and stakeholders
• Implement and maintain testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library)
• Champion front-end standards and code quality best practices
• Help evolve our design system and contribute to front-end architecture decisions

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of front-end development experience, with expert-level skills in React
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with front-end tooling (Webpack, Vite, ESLint, etc.)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling
• Passion for great UI/UX and creating seamless user experiences
• A collaborative mindset with strong communication skills
• Bonus: Experience working in regulated industries or healthtech
