Senior Fertilizer Trader (Australia)

We are expanding.

A well-established commodity trading company based in DMCC, UAE is seeking a Senior Fertilizer Trader in Australia to build and manage our global fertilizer trading book.

This is a P&L ownership opportunity.

The Role

• Manage the complete fertilizer trading book (urea, ammonium sulfate, sulfur, phosphates, NPKs, etc.)
• Develop and execute global sourcing & distribution strategies
• Structure and execute physical trades
• Optimize freight, arbitrage, and inventory
• Manage supplier and buyer relationships across key markets
• Build and lead a high-performance trading function
• Take responsibility for risk management and P&L optimization

What We Are Looking For

• 10+ years experience in fertilizer trading
• Proven track record managing a profitable trading book or portfolio
• Strong relationships with producers, distributors, and end users
• Solid understanding of global fertilizer flows
• Experience with structured trade finance is a plus
• Entrepreneurial and commercially driven mindset
