Frontend Developer

MBM is an experienced frontend web developer to join our small team in a long term, reliable and fully remote contract position to work on custom websites and web apps with complex functionality and UX. Required for this position is some combination of: a strong command of modern CSS, experience with Vue.js, and experience working with Laravel-based web apps and Wordpress sites that include custom, unique functionality without using third party plugin.

Hourly Commitment: 20 - 39 hours per week

Duration: Open ended

Compensation: DOE & skillset

Ideal Experience & Skillset:

• Strong command of modern CSS across a variety of environments
• Experience working in Wordpress projects
• Experience working in Vue.js projects
• Experience working in Laravel projects and/or a good understanding of PHP and OOP
• Lives and works in the US/Pacific timezone

Required for this Position

1. Fluency with Git and using version control for team based projects
2. Strong CSS skills for solving unique UX challenges
3. Experience working in either Wordpress, Laravel or Vue.js
4. Generally available during business hours in the US/Pacific timezone
5. Comfort using project management tools like Trello, and ability to manage own deadlines and deliverables with minimal micromanagement
