Business Analyst (Contract) Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. Summary This position offers a unique opportunity to provide critical business management support for large-scale engineering teams developing cutting-edge developer tools for artificial intelligence. The successful candidate will serve as a key partner to senior leadership, managing headcount operations and delivering data-driven insights for organizations totaling approximately 2,500 employees worldwide. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with exceptional analytical capabilities and strong execution excellence who can work independently while maintaining accuracy across multiple complex projects. The position involves end-to-end ownership of headcount management processes, creation and maintenance of dashboards and reporting systems, and support for strategic hiring initiatives. • Manage end-to-end headcount operations for two large organizations with a combined workforce of 2,500 employees globally
• Conduct data analysis and provide actionable insights to support business management decisions
• Create, maintain, and update dashboards and reporting systems for organizational visibility
• Support industry hiring projects by ensuring hiring managers follow best practices and maintain quality standards
• Perform hierarchy assessments and corrections to maintain organizational accuracy
• Execute Position Count Number cleanup and maintenance activities
• Deliver ad hoc project work to support the Business Management Office
• Partner with directors to provide comprehensive business management support for product development and AI infrastructure teams
• Ensure data accuracy and reporting precision across all deliverables
• Monitor and maintain project management processes including goals, deadlines, and metrics

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience with headcount management
• Minimum 3 years of experience with data analysis using Excel and Power BI
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with SharePoint and PowerPoint
• 2-4 years of overall experience in business analysis or related field
• Bachelor's degree in an analytical field such as business management, economics, finance, accounting, or related discipline
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis and manipulation
• Strong expertise in Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualization
• Comprehensive knowledge of SharePoint for collaboration and document management
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for presentation development
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word for documentation
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Self-motivated with strong execution capabilities
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines consistently

Additional Details

• Location: Remote
• Duration: 4 months
• Pay Range*: $31 - $35 per hour
• Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
• Job Status: Non-Exempt
