• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using AWS, Snowflake, and dbt.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
• Optimise existing data architectures to improve performance and reliability.
• Implement robust data governance practices to ensure data quality and security.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Support the integration of new data sources into existing systems.
• Document processes, workflows, and system configurations for future reference.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members where required.

The Successful ApplicantA Successful Senior Data Engineer (Contract) Should Have

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Snowflake, and dbt.
• A solid understanding of data modelling and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and automation.
• Experience working in cloud-based data environments.
• An analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A background in the business services industry is advantageous but not essential.
