Position Title: Creative Director Department: Operations – Marketing and Communications Reports to: Vice President, Communications & Board Engagement Location: Remote Schedule: Full-time M-F Location: Remote Travel: 10-15% Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000 *New hires are typically brought into the organization between the minimum to midpoint of the salary range posted depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role. Position Overview The Creative Director is responsible for leading the creative vision and execution across all of Vibrant's marketing and communications initiatives. This role oversees a team of designers, videographers, and creators to deliver impactful campaigns that further Vibrant's mission of promoting mental health and well-being, internally and externally. The Creative Director also manages Vibrant’s brand identity, evolving and enforcing brand guidelines to foster consistency, clarity, and audience engagement across all platforms and touchpoints. Duties/Responsibilities

  • Drive brand strategy and creative direction, ensuring consistency and integrity of brand expr
  • ession across all marketing, communications, and organizational initiatives.
  • Collaborate with communications and marketing team members to provide creative direction for campaigns, fundraising efforts, events, social media content and more, ensuring impact and brand resonance.
  • Working closely with team leadership to own and update brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all
  • platforms and materials. Evolve the brand identity to reflect Vibrant’s mission, voice, and values.
  • Work closely with cross-functional department partners to translate strategic objectives into engaging creative concepts, while upholding ensure creative alignment and consistency across the organization.
  • Partner with Vibrant’s program leads to develop creative strategies and concepts that support their goals.
  • Oversee the creative vision and execution across all internal and external marketing and communications initiatives, including the production of design assets, videos, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure all visual assets, from digital content to print materials, are on-brand, audience-centric, and drive measurable results.
  • Manage and mentor the in-house creative team of designers, videographers, and creators. Provide guidance and direction to team members, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to excel.
  • Evaluate creative concepts and strategies to ensure alignment with Vibrant's brand and messaging.
  • Develop and manage the creative budget for effective allocation of resources.
  • Approve final creative assets, ensuring they meet quality and brand standards
  • Develop and implement creative processes and workflows, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay ahead of design trends, tools, technologies, and best practices to keep Vibrant's creative fresh and impactful.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for creative problem-solving
  • Ability to bring Vibrant's mission to life through compelling visual storytelling
  • High level of proficiency in design and creative tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), familiarity with platforms like Canva, Figma, and video editing tools; understanding of content formats for web, social, and print, and accessibility best practices
  • Dedication to fostering a positive, productive work environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and continuous learning
  • Ability to translate strategic objectives into compelling creative concepts
  • Champion experimentation and fresh approaches while honoring brand standards
  • Skilled at managing multiple projects and priorities under tight deadlines
  • Familiar with creative production workflows and project management tools

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in art, design or related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a creative leadership role, preferably within the nonprofit or social impact space.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Will frequently communicate over video calls with internal and external stakeholders
