Remote Instructional Designer – Join a Global Tech Solutions Company

We are looking for an experienced Instructional Designer to join a newly formed Romania-based team supporting a long-term international project in the tech industry. The position is full-time, fully remote, and ideal for a structured, creative professional with a strong background in developing training materials across formats. You will work closely with program managers and subject matter experts to build engaging learning content adapted to various delivery methods.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with program managers and SMEs to assess training needs and timelines
• Design and develop learning materials using ADDIE, Kirkpatrick, or similar models
• Create scripts, captions, and videos for multiple contexts and formats (ILT, VILT, e-learning, video)
• Adapt instructional materials for various formats including visual and audio content
• Coordinate uploads to LMS platforms and ensure proper content management
• Review and update existing training content as needed
• Contribute to process improvement efforts in instructional design and delivery
• Mentor junior staff if required

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in instructional design
• Strong proficiency in MS PowerPoint
• Experience with tools such as Articulate 360/Storyline, Camtasia, Captivate, Audacity, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
• Solid understanding of instructional design methodology and adult learning theory
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Graphic Design, or a related field is a plus but not mandatory
• Experience creating content across all learning modalities

Nice to Have

• Experience in designing training for technology-related content (e.g. cloud computing, software tools, accessibility)
• Familiarity with accessibility standards in e-learning design
• Previous experience working on international or enterprise-level projects
• Understanding of LMS platforms and metadata management
• Background in visual design or multimedia production
