Job Title: Assurance & Accreditation Executive

·      Location: Remote within the United Kingdom

·      Contract Type: Freelance contractor, open initial term

·      Job Type: Part-time (up to 2 days per week), with the possibility of extension

·      Rate: £14 - £16.5 per hour, depending on experience

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assurance & Accreditation Executive to coordinate the delivery of our assurance and accreditation services. This junior-level role will support the administration and logistics of member submissions, workflows and certification processes, ensuring smooth day-to-day delivery of assurance and accreditation services. You will be supported by a thorough handover from the current postholder and have access to expert technical contacts for guidance. This is a highly structured role best suited to someone who enjoys following clear processes, keeping systems up to date and ensuring smooth delivery.

Key Responsibilities:Assurance & Accreditation Coordination:

  • Coordinate the end-to-end administration of assurance and accreditation applications
  • Maintain clear records of applications, timelines and communications
  • Support applicants and assessors throughout the submission process
  • Track testing stages, payments, scheduling and certificate delivery
  • Ensure process documentation is kept up to date as changes are introduced
  • Manage data, templates and resources across platforms including the LMS, SharePoint and CRM
  • Refer any technical queries to designated assurance partners or assessors

Monitoring and Process Improvement:

  • Maintain oversight of progress across assurance activities using internal trackers
  • Suggest improvements to internal workflows where relevant and aligned with process owners

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with digital tools such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint and CRMs
  • Ability to follow structured workflows and manage deadlines
  • Clear and professional communication, particularly in writing
  • Ability to work independently and escalate when needed
  • Interest in learning about assurance processes and how social value is implemented in real-world settings

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in administrative support or professional services
  • Awareness of certification or assurance processes or a willingness to learn

Education:

  • Relevant experience or qualifications in administration or social value-related fields

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Level 1 Practitioner or someone early in their social value journey to gain hands-on experience with assurance processes. You'll not only support the delivery of certification services but also see first-hand how social value principles are applied by practitioners in real-world contexts.
