Imagine Exhibitions, a pioneer in global traveling entertainment and immersive experiences, is seeking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst to work in the accounting department, reporting directly to the Director of Finance to manage the day-to-day accounting and finance activities for the Company. This position is a full-time position.
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Imagine Exhibitions. This role will support consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities, assist with journal entries, contribute to month-end close processes, and prepare financial spreadsheets and analyses that help management make informed decisions. As an integral member of the accounting team, this individual will provide timely and accurate financial information to support efficient operations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, communicates effectively across departments, thrives in a fast-paced and growing environment, manages multiple priorities with ease, and brings a positive, team-oriented, can-do attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with consolidation and financial reporting across multiple entities
- Support preparation and posting of journal entries (JEs)
- Participate in month-end close activities, including reconciliations and variance analysis
- Maintain and update financial models and reporting templates
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across reporting systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Operations, Retail, Production and other departments
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and data integrity
- Coordinate with management to create financial models and forecasts
- Prepare month end reports including actual vs budgets, updating forecasts, etc
- Forecast, analyze and provide summary of organization’s trends in sales, margin and other KPIs
- Create ad hoc reports, graphs and charts of financial data
- Develop and update models to provide forecast analysis for various financial conditions related to business operations
- Create management presentations highlighting the Company’s businesses and financial and operational results, both historical and projected.
Job Requirements:
- BA/BS degree or higher in Finance, Business, Mathematics, Accounting, or related field.
- 5+ years of financial analysis experience.
- Strong proficiency in Excel.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills including verbal & written communication, critical thinking, presentation, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline, and detail-driven environment required.
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Experience communicating to executive levels a plus.
- Experience with Business Central and Power BI preferred but not required.
- Financial analysis within the media or entertainment industry is preferred but not required.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer and other standard office equipment.
