Role Description

This is a remote home based contract role for a Medico Legal Audio Typist. The primary responsibilities include transcribing medical and legal audio recordings with high accuracy and preparing professional, well-structured documents. The role involves efficient utilisation of audio typing equipment, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information, and ensuring adherence to established guidelines and timelines. Collaboration with team members and communication with stakeholders is an essential part of the role.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in Typing and Audio Typing
• Strong Clerical Skills, including document management and organizational abilities
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
• Basic to advanced Computer Literacy skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information responsibly
• Previous experience in medico-legal document preparation is an advantage, however general medical audio transcription will be sufficient.
