HRIS Specialist – ATOSS Time Management & Payroll Systems | Germany
HRIT People is partnering with an established international manufacturing group to appoint an HRIS Specialist who will play a central role in advancing their HR systems landscape.
The Customer:
Our client is a well-established, privately held manufacturing group operating internationally across the health, nutrition, pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors. With a substantial global footprint and several thousand employees across multiple sites, they combine long-standing industry expertise with a strong commitment to innovation, operational excellence and customer focus. This is a stable, growth-oriented organisation investing meaningfully in the modernisation of its HR technology.
The opportunity
This is a key role in the continued development of the client's HRIS landscape. You'll create the foundation for modern, connected HR work through intelligent system integration and process optimisation — and provide functional leadership to the time management and payroll team in Germany.
What you'll be doing
Strategic development and technical system support
- Providing technical consulting and system support, with a focus on expanding and developing the full HRIS landscape and its integration with adjacent systems — always aligned with the optimisation and digitalisation of HR processes
- Implementing, configuring and continuously developing the ATOSS time management system, along with payroll and other HRIS applications
Project management and delivery
- Running HRIS projects end to end — from concept and planning through implementation to a successful go-live
- Coordinating and managing external service providers delivering system adjustments and technical enhancements
- Conducting system and functional testing, and creating and maintaining technical documentation
Support and user enablement
- Ensuring 1st- and 2nd-level support for time management, and assisting end users with technical and process-related questions
- Organising and delivering training for the HR team and end users to ensure confident, efficient use of the systems
Team leadership
- Providing functional leadership and support to the time management and payroll team in Germany
What we're looking for
Education (minimum requirement)
- A completed degree in (business) informatics, business administration/economics, or a comparable qualification gained through further training and professional experience
Experience (minimum requirement)
- At least five years' experience in HR digitalisation, particularly the introduction and support of time management and payroll systems in an industrial environment
Additional skills and knowledge
- Strong expertise in the technical consulting, implementation and system support of the ATOSS time management system, plus a solid grasp of modern IT and process standards
- Confident handling of relational databases, data migration, and reporting/visualisation tools (e.g. SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI)
- Practical experience integrating HR processes into SAP systems, and sound knowledge of relevant SAP integration technologies (BTP, CPI, IDocs, RFCs, APIs) — an advantage
- Solid project management competence and initial experience in functional leadership
- Familiarity with ITIL, Agile and Prince2 methodologies is ideal
