FP&A Consultant

Our client is a fast-growing specialist in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) implementations. They’re scaling their Pigment practice and will train and certify you in Pigment. If you’ve delivered FP&A automation for forecasting/budgeting in Excel/VBA or worked with another cloud planning platform, this is a chance to step into consulting, work across multiple industries, and build in a modern, in-demand EPM stack.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CFO/FP&A teams to translate planning, budgeting, and forecasting requirements into scalable EPM models.
• Design and build models (driver-based forecasting, workforce/opex planning, revenue/sales capacity, scenario analysis) using Pigment. Full training provided.
• Automate and streamline FP&A processes, data loads, transformations, master data, versioning, and workflow.
• Participate in discovery, solution design, configuration, testing, user training, and post-go-live optimisation.
• Work with finance data models, APIs/ETL, and source systems (ERP, CRM, HRIS).
• Create documentation, run UAT, lead workshops, and upskill finance users.
• Contribute to accelerators, templates, and best practices for the Pigment practice.

Requirements

• 2-4 years in FP&A (commercial finance, financial modelling, planning cycles) or EPM implementation/finance systems.
• Proven automation experience in one of the following:
• Excel + VBA (macros, model optimisation, automation of reporting/packs), or
• Another cloud EPM tool (e.g. Anaplan, Adaptive Planning, Planful, Oracle EPM Cloud/PBCS, TM1/Planning Analytics, SAP BPC/SAC, OneStream).
• Comfort working with data, lookups, hierarchies, and reconciling to GL/ERP.
• Excellent communication skills; able to simplify complexity for finance audiences.
• Experience engaging with stakeholders or client-facing delivery.
