Process Manager

Accountability:

• End-to-End Performance Owner: Define and hit process KPIs (cycle time, FTR, throughput, cost/unit, defect rate, compliance). Maintain targets, dashboards, and control plans.

• Design & Optimization: Model to BPMN; run diagnostics (mining, data triangulation), (re)design to-be flows; implement controls, SLAs, and automation.

• Technology Integration: Align process changes with SAP and adjacent platforms; own Signavio/LeanIX repositories, reference models, and change governance.

• Portfolio & Roadmap: Maintain process backlogs, value cases, and release plans; prioritize by ROI/risk; manage dependencies across domains.

• Risk & Compliance: Map controls to risks, embed segregation of duties, and ensure auditability; own remediation plans.

• People & Change: Drive adoption (playbooks, SOPs, training), run OCM plans, and certify process roles (BPO/SME network).

• Reporting: Produce executive summaries and heatmaps; track experiment outcomes; adjust course via A/B pilots.

Complexity:

• System & Data Heterogeneity: Multiple ERPs/modules, customizations, and integrations; master data quality and entitlement constraints.

• Regulatory & Control Density: Finance, data privacy, SoD, industry standards impacting design options.

• Networked Processes: O2C, P2P, R2R, logistics — shared resources and cross-domain ripple effects.

• Release Velocity: Frequent deployments; overlapping initiatives requiring staged rollouts and feature toggles.

• Global Scale: Multi-region variants, localization, and service-level variability.

Experience:

• Tenure: 10+ years BPM/BPI; proven delivery of large process transformations.

• Methods & Tools: BPMN, Lean/Six Sigma, value-stream mapping; basics: Signavio, LeanIX, process mining, automation tooling (workflow/RPA).

• Tech Fluency: SAP process & data structures; integration patterns; basics of cloud/data platforms to align designs with architecture.

• Analytics: Quantitative diagnostics, hypothesis testing, experimentation; business casing and benefits tracking.

• Governance & Change: RACI, process ownership model, release/change governance, OCM.

• Qualifications: Bachelor’s in business/management or related; BPM/CI certifications (e.g., LSS, BPMN); project management experience a plus.

Communication:

• Executive-Grade Briefing: Succinct narratives using pyramid principle; KPI deltas, risks, decisions required.

• Operational Clarity: One-page SOPs, swimlanes, and issue trees; “what changes tomorrow” guides for front-line teams.

• Cross-Functional Influence: Frames trade-offs in business terms; influences decisions; maintains a transparent backlog.

• Story with Data: Turns mining insights into action; communicates confidence levels, assumptions, and verification steps.
