About the Opportunity
Hatchit Studios is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our growing ServiceNow practice and support the delivery of a major Federal Government digital transformation program.
Working within an experienced Agile delivery team, you'll play a key role in designing, developing and configuring ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) capabilities for a large-scale enterprise implementation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on ServiceNow developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, collaborating with experienced consultants, and delivering enterprise-grade ServiceNow solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and configure ServiceNow solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Configure and customise ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) components.
- Develop scalable, maintainable solutions using ServiceNow platform best practices.
- Support system integration, defect resolution and ongoing platform enhancements.
- Perform developer-led system and regression testing to ensure solution quality.
- Produce technical documentation to support delivered solutions.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Analysts and client stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
- Contribute to solution design and continuous platform improvement.
Skills & Experience Required
- Demonstrated experience developing solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting capability.
- Experience with Business Rules, Flow Designer, Script Includes, UI Policies and Client Scripts.
- Experience developing scoped applications using App Engine Studio.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise applications using REST APIs and IntegrationHub.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow development standards and best practices.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Current Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance.
Highly Regarded
- Experience implementing or supporting ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) or Project Portfolio Management (PPM).
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications.
- Previous Federal Government project experience.
- Experience with Automated Test Framework (ATF).
