A vacancy has arisen for an Account Manager - Germany, to join our team on a permanent basis.

• Developing and creating detailed profiles of the assigned markets and market segments (including Germany)
• Review and development of new prospects and commercial projects
• Collaboration with product management, R&D, and quality assurance in the development of new projects and opportunities
• Maintaining and expanding relationships and business with existing customers
• Responsibility for developing and aligning customer strategy and activation plans
• Preparing proposals, negotiating prices, and providing business solutions to effectively close sales
• Reviewing all available internal data to track and monitor financial and operational performance, including but not limited to volume and profitability data

The Skills you will bring to the team

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in food/nutrition science or sales & marketing with a technical background, or equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of experience in customer service, ideally in areas related to the Glanbia portfolio
• Excellent verbal and written German and English skills, other languages an advantage
• Confident use of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Experience with LinkedIn and other social media platforms and confident use of these
• Strong commercial understanding and ambition to develop and expand new business areas
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
