Blockchain Developer

We’re looking for a hands-on Blockchain / DLT Developer to join a growing technology team building distributed ledger solutions for financial services.
The key requirement - this is primarily a private / permissioned blockchain DLT role.
We’re looking for someone who has genuine hands-on experience building and deploying enterprise or permissioned blockchain solutions - not solely public-chain / Web3 experience.
You’ll work across a combination of permissioned DLT, smart contracts and public-chain technologies, helping develop a proprietary enterprise blockchain platform and its surrounding applications.
What you’ll do
- Build and deploy private / permissioned DLT and smart contract solutions.
- Develop blockchain applications for financial services, digital assets and capital markets.
- Contribute to a proprietary enterprise blockchain platform, including protocol and tooling development.
- Integrate DLT with APIs, backend services and wider platform infrastructure.
- Work with technologies including Ethereum, Hedera, Algorand and enterprise DLT.
- Build, test and optimise secure smart contracts.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, product teams and clients.
What we’re looking for
- Hands-on private / permissioned / enterprise DLT experience — e.g. Hyperledger Fabric, Besu, Corda, Quorum or similar.
- Strong blockchain fundamentals across consensus, cryptography, tokenisation and DLT architecture.
- Experience with Solidity / Ethereum smart contracts.
- Experience with security tokens, digital assets or tokenisation.
- Strong development skills in Go, Java, Python or Node.js.
- Experience with Web3.js, Ethers.js, Hardhat, Foundry or equivalent tooling.
- Ideally, experience across financial services, capital markets or fintech.
