The Project Manager will lead cross-functional delivery for software, data, and infrastructure initiatives, coordinating engineering, product, design, security, and go-to-market teams from planning through launch.
This role matters because reliable execution is essential as technical programs scale. The Project Manager will turn ambiguous goals into clear plans, surface dependencies and risks early, and keep teams aligned on measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end delivery of technical projects, including scope, milestones, dependencies, resourcing, and launch readiness
- Build and maintain project plans, RAID logs, status dashboards, and decision records using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, or equivalent
- Coordinate engineering, product, data, infrastructure, security, and external partners across concurrent workstreams
- Facilitate sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, roadmap reviews, and executive status updates as appropriate
- Track delivery against milestones and KPIs, escalating risks, blockers, and scope changes with clear recommendations
- Improve project-management processes, templates, and operating cadences to increase predictability and reduce execution friction
- Manage release coordination and post-launch follow-through, including incident reviews, documentation, and outcome measurement
- 3-8 years of experience in technical project management, program management, engineering operations, or a related cross-functional role
- Experience delivering software, data, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, or platform initiatives with engineering teams
- Strong command of project planning, dependency management, risk tracking, stakeholder communication, and change control
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Linear, Asana, Smartsheet, Confluence, Notion, or comparable delivery platforms
- Ability to understand technical discussions involving APIs, cloud services, data pipelines, system integrations, and software release processes
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field; equivalent professional experience considered
- Bonus: PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification; experience with Agile, Scrum, OKRs, CI/CD, or distributed teams
