We are seeking a Senior HR Operational Specialist to join our HR team in Latvia. This role will oversee the benefits package, processes for newcomer adaptation, administration of internal tasks and reports, as well as other HR-related initiatives based on business needs and your interests. Your employment contract title will be Senior People Operations Specialist. Feel free to work remotely from anywhere across Latvia or connect with colleagues at our Riga office. Responsibilities

  • Lead People Operations, providing support and guidance to team members and colleagues to ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and adaptation processes, including new hire orientation and integration activities
  • Supervise the completion of mandatory trainings
  • Act as the primary contact for employees regarding internal policies, processes, and tools
  • Review and update Internal Rules & Procedures and other internal documentation, ensuring effective communication where necessary
  • Support the implementation of various HR projects and programs tailored to business needs and personal interests
  • Administer vacation requests and personnel reports, prepare employee documentation, and manage personnel records
  • Propose and take on new responsibilities with available support to achieve desired business results
  • Supervise the administration of employee benefits
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the company’s people processes

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in HR roles such as HR generalist or HR operations
  • Understanding of Latvian Labor law
  • Experience with onboarding processes, integration programs, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Familiarity with core HR processes and their contribution to business outcomes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Latvian
  • Capability to foster a positive organizational culture
  • Competency in working independently while managing priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Understanding of cross-cultural sensitivity and cultural awareness
  • Proficiency in Office Software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with a willingness to learn new tools
