Who we are
Engage Solutions Group is a UK-based, AI-first SaaS company solving a real communication challenge inside organisations: how to keep employees and customers connected, informed and part of a community.
We didn't start in SaaS. The business began in print media, pivoted into mobile apps in 2015–16, and in 2017 new ownership with strong SaaS backgrounds moved us to a product-led model. Today, 60+ customers across retail, automotive, legal and professional services run on the platform, and growth to date has been organic.
Deals now land in the £200k–£400k ARR range and larger opportunities are opening up. The next step is £1m+ enterprise deals. This role exists to make that repeatable. AI is not a bolt-on here. It runs through the product and through how we build the pipeline: Clay, Apollo and HubSpot sit at the core of our GTM stack, alongside signal and intent tooling we're building in-house.
Why this role exists
At our price point and sales cycle, paid is air cover, not acquisition. What actually moves deals is proof, narrative and assets in the hands of the Sales Team. Therefore media buying sits with our agency partner and focus is on in house content production.
This currently runs through one person, alongside GTM strategy, board reporting and direct work on live deals. This role takes ownership of the production. You will take direction, positioning and priorities from the Head of Growth and turn them into finished, buyer-ready work: pages, case studies, playbooks, decks, emails, founder posts etc.
To help clarity on the fit, this role IS NOT;
A paid media seat. Media strategy and buying stay with our agency partner and freelance specialists. If you want to live in Campaign Manager and Google Ads, this is the wrong role.
A strategy seat. Positioning, the messaging framework and the quarterly plan are owned above you. You apply them, and you tell us where they break in the market.
A social media or brand-awareness job. Everything you produce points at a named buyer in a named vertical, follower growth is not a measure here.
An agency replacement. They continues to execute channels but you brief them properly and hold the standard.
What you'll own
Vertical pages and diagnostics landing pages per vertical
Automotive is live, Insurance is briefed and waiting, Legal will come next. Copy, structure and conversion logic are yours; heavier build support comes from the agency and internal solutions.
Proof and sales assets
Our messaging rulebook allows named-customer proof only, which means someone has to go and make it. Customer interviews, case studies, buyer-evidence packs, vertical playbooks, one-pagers and deck systems will be built and given directly to the BDMs and to our founding SDR.
Customer marketing and the Appi installed base
Three CS enablement series are built and need to run properly: health-score-triggered workflows, in-platform delivery through EngageSpace as well as email, and follow-up on Appi customer webinars. A meaningful share of expansion revenue sits in accounts we already have, and this is how we reach them.
Founder content production
Weekly output for two founders on LinkedIn, each with a defined lane and playbook. sourced from call recordings and transcripts you'll provide copy written in their voice.
HubSpot build delivery and reporting
Workflow, sequences, lifecycle stages, list hygiene, campaign attribution, and the intent-signal loop that turns account-level signal into plays sales can run. Plus a weekly performance pack, built once and then automated. You are the person who makes HubSpot do the thing, not the person who logs a ticket about it.
What success looks like
Days 1–30
You’ll inherit our live asset set, the HubSpot instance and agency relationships. You’ll also ship the Insurance vertical page, identifying what's half-built, what should be killed, and a working weekly reporting pack.
Days 31–60
You’ll produce two named-customer case studies from scratch, including the interviews. Turn Founder content running to a weekly cadence without chasing and have one CS series live
with health-score triggers firing.
Days 61–90
You’ll begin to systemise, fine tune automations around reporting and will have a repeatable path from customer call to published proof asset. Within this at least one meaningful part of your own workflow should be running as an agent.
A great fit for this role;
Is a strong writer. For business buyers, and in someone else's voice when the byline isn't yours. This is the single biggest predictor of success in the role.
Has around 4-6 years hands-on B2B marketing, with real production volume behind you such as; pages, case studies, email, sales assets. We’re looking for breadth over depth in any one channel.
Knows HubSpot at working depth: workflows, lists, lifecycle stages, reporting. You can build without asking ops.
Ships fast and finishes. Evidence of running several work streams at once without things quietly dying.
Has built, automated or unusually leveraged something in a previous role using AI
Confident use of ChatGPT or Claude does not clear this bar. We want someone who has built things: automations in n8n, Zapier or equivalent, enrichment workflows in Clay, API calls into HubSpot, agents that do a real job on a schedule without a human in the loop.
Turning call transcripts into draft founder posts is a good example of the kind of thing we'd expect you to reach for.
