About the role Reporting to the General Manager, you will manage and grow relationships with our existing network of social purpose organisations, training providers, and corporate employers while supporting the design, delivery, and reporting of our inclusive employment programs. Your time will be split between:
- Employer engagement and pipeline growth (driving campaigns, creating placement pathways, and expanding our network of inclusive employers)
- Partner and stakeholder management (building trust, identifying engagement opportunities, and tailoring approaches to different partner needs)
- Internal engagement and cross-functional collaboration (embedding the Foundation in marketing, product, and other internal initiatives)
- Impact measurement and reporting (developing a theory of change, tracking success metrics, and supporting reporting to the ATO, ACNC, and other stakeholders)
You’ll be the go-to for ensuring our operational momentum continues while also contributing to new initiatives and creative problem-solving with partners. - Work with internal teams to identify, engage, and activate inclusive employers across priority sectors.
- Co-design campaigns and initiatives to increase placement opportunities.
- Collaborate with employers to ensure candidates are set up for success.
Partner & Stakeholder Management
- Build, manage, and deepen relationships with existing and new social purpose partners, ensuring tailored engagement strategies for each.
- Identify creative ways to increase candidate engagement and registrations from partner organisations.
- Represent the Foundation in meetings, events, and ecosystem forums.
Program Delivery & Impact
- Oversee parts of the candidate-to-employer matching process and ensure high-quality follow-up on both sides.
- Lead the development and implementation of impact metrics and reporting frameworks.
- Capture and share success stories to inspire partners and employers.
Internal Collaboration & Strategy
- Embed the Foundation’s needs into Employment Hero’s product, marketing strategy, and customer engagement efforts.
- Anticipate cross-functional planning cycles (e.g., annual marketing planning) to secure early commitment.
- Contribute to strategic planning, especially as we expand into new geographies.
What we need from youEssential
- Proven experience in partnerships, stakeholder engagement, or program management.
- Highly skilled at building relationships and influencing at all levels, internally and externally.
- Able to thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and deliver outcomes without waiting for perfect information.
- Highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable juggling competing priorities.
- A proactive, tenacious, GSD mindset - comfortable without rigid systems or processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A genuine interest in inclusive employment and social impact initiatives.
Desirable (but not essential!)
- Experience working for both social impact organisations and for-profit enterprises.
- Understanding of the Australian employment services or vocational education sector.
