We’re looking for a Head of Wholesale to build, grow, and lead our wholesale channel from the ground up. This is a hands on, commercially driven role focused on opening new accounts, expanding existing relationships, and establishing a strong national retail footprint across the United States and worldwide.
This role suits someone who thrives on being in the field visiting stores, attending trade shows, pitching in person, and turning conversations into long term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Wholesale Growth & New Business
- Drive national wholesale growth across independent retailers, regional chains, and key strategic accounts
- Actively prospect, pitch, and close new wholesale partners (small to large)
- Own the wholesale pipeline from first contact through onboarding and repeat orders
- Identify new market opportunities, territories, and retail categories
Account Management & Expansion
- Build deep, long term relationships with wholesale partners
- Grow existing accounts through range expansion, reorder strategy, and seasonal launches
- Partner with retailers on sell through, merchandising, and in store success
- Manage pricing, margin conversations, and commercial negotiations
Field Sales & Travel
- Regularly travel to retailers across the US for in person meetings
- Represent the brand at key US trade shows and industry events
- Be the face of the brand in market
Wholesale Strategy & Leadership
- Own and execute the US wholesale strategy in line with broader company goals
- Provide insights on market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback
- Work closely with marketing, ops, and leadership to support launches and wholesale readiness
- Forecast wholesale demand and contribute to growth planning
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in wholesale sales, business development, or field sales
- Strong track record of opening and growing wholesale accounts
- Comfortable pitching to both independent retailers and larger chains
- Highly commercial mindset with strong negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel and work autonomously
- Confident, relationship driven, and results focused
- Experience attending and selling at US trade shows is a strong advantage
